Mornington Peninsula Community Dog Club is a not-for-profit organisation. Our dedicated team of instructors have a range of experience and knowledge to help you communicate with your dog. We adopt an atmosphere of stress-free training for both the dog and trainer. We also have flexibility within our training plans, to cater for different levels of experience & breed types.
We actively encourage social interaction with our members through activity events and social gatherings. These of course include our ‘four legged friends’.
Through the correct training and socialisation, you and your pet will be likely to enjoy the experience of pet dog ownership and reap the many benefits it offers. We use a range of training techniques to help you and your dog get the most out of your relationship. Our instructors demonstrate the dog training techniques and provide help and feedback to enable you to become your own dog’s trainer. We encourage the whole family to be involved with the training of your dog, so that your pet will listen to and interact positively with all members of the family.
We recommend that all dogs start at the Beginner Level, even if you have already taken your dog through a puppy class. If you have completed more extensive training with your dog, please speak to us to enable us to assess your dog and determine which level you can start in.
If you would like to join please complete our new members’ application form . We will then contact you to take you through the registration process, and advise you of your class allocation and start date for training.
A brief outline of our dog training classes are outlined here.
